Jan Švankmajer – Food (1992)
Hi everyone. I am back on track. I recently finished my Bachelor thesis and from now on i´ll be posting some more stuff on a regular basis. We´ll start with some surrealism…
Wikipedia tells me:
“Jan Švankmajer (born 4 September 1934, Prague) is a Czech surrealist artist. His work spans several media. He is known for his surreal animations and features, which have greatly influenced other artists such as Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, The Brothers Quay, Shane Acker, and many others.”We´ll be watching “Food” from 1992. A animated short film that uses claymation and live action, examining the human relationship to food by showing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy!
