In line of the Transmediale Festival in Berlin from 30.01 – 05.02.12. I want to show you the work of Till Nowak.
He will present his short film “The Centrifuge Brain Project” at the Festival. It’s not online, but i give you a short vision. In this fictive documentation he builds monstrous machines, which scientist use to overcome gravity. With 3-D-Modelling-and Animation Software he manipulates the reality. After taking live pictures to extract the 3-D structure, he put these animation back to the documentary footage via Match-Moving-Method. So that we get the impression, that gravity is no matter anymore.
“Till Nowak is a digital artist, designer and filmmaker. Since 1999 Till works as a professional computer graphics artist on his own independent projects and as an efficient one-man-production-company for high profile clients. He is based in Hamburg. He has is own computer animation Studio frameboX”

Highly recommended. Every Year in the end of January and beginning of February the CTM Festival in cooperation with transmediale takes place in Berlin.
For every Year now, I joined the Festival. Its taking you away in another universe of music and cultural adventures. It will sharpen your senses and put your percipience on an higher level. Mostly it is really experimental. It’s more music for your mind then for your feet.
“With an extensive program of concerts, discourses and an exhibition space, CTM.12 – Festival for Adventurous Music and Related Arts is appropriating the festival theme SPECTRAL to explore the current reemergence of all things ghostly and dark in experimental music, avant-pop, and art – and to speculate about its possible causes and inherent potentials.
In addition to a comprehensive music program at HAU, Berghain, Passionskirche, Gretchen, Kater Holzig and Horst Krzbrg, a discourse series developed in collaboration with the philosopher, psycho-historian and author Andreas L. Hofbauer will address the festival’s theme by pursuing questions concerning art, theory, and music. ”

Friday, the 16th of December OneBeat’s experimental sessions goes into the second round, with KYSON, who joined the Onebeat collective very recently, and OneBeat’s up to date only visual artist RTZ23 to perform together. We’re expecting an audiovisual experience in concert length with Kyson’s atmospheric downtempo beats blending with RTZ23′s animated visuals. Supported by Geordie Little on the guitar. We’ll also have a dj playing some tunes before and after so come early and have a beer with us.
Kyson aka Jian is the newest member of the OneBeat collective. He makes some great music. His bio states that he’s “drawing influences from Ambient and Trip Hop Artists, Jazz Musicians such as Miles Davis and Hip/hop Producers of the early 90’s” to create a mix of “Downtempo beats, soft melodies, washy vocals and deep pads“. The buzz around him is growing and he’s been featured on websites like the ISO50 Blog or the Nueva Forma Podcast.

The party “BEAT PUMPE” is part of Viva con Agua´s “Wassertage 2011″, an event series across germany, aiming to raising funds and awareness for drinking water projects. The party is also the “after-dinner-party” of RUDIROCKT, a cooking event where different teams cook for 3 courses in groups of 3 in their homes, meeting new people every time. Subscribe to RUDIROCKT here.
Our friends from OneBeat are supporting the Event with 4 of 9 artists (Moarice, Maroq, Jan Hertz & Ma Tias), promotion and organization. I am thrilled to see Alle Farben.. whos sets are usually excellent and varying between uplifting techno to swing and slow house. Listen to his latest chilled Autumn (Orange) set below:

“KRAKE ist an annual Berlin based festival for challenging electronic music and visual transduction initiated by Nico Deuster of KILLEKILL and Holger Hilgers.
The festival took place at the Suicide Circus for the first time in 2010 and was an overwhelming success: numerous groundbreaking artists of high reputation rocked the crowd such as Warp’s electronica heroes PLAID, techno legend CRISTIAN VOGEL, RADIOACTIVE MAN of the infamous two lone swordsmen or breakbeat weirdo BOGDAN RACZYNSKI. But there were also a lot of new talents who surprised the audience with their freshness. PLASTER with their audio/visual concert and KARSTEN PFLUM deserve to be named here.
For 2011 KRAKE will take the next level and consolidate its reputation as the most daring Berlin club festival with a massive line up in 4 venues and, a new website and an artwork by internationally acclaimed graphic designers DOPPELDENK. Musicians confirmed for 2011 include JIMMY EDGAR live set, BOLA live set, LEGOWELT live set, MIXMASTER MORRIS dj set, EMIKA live and many, many more.”
Is there anything more to say ?
just check their site
and be sure to go through the artist lists. HERE are some nice examples:
