Sometimes we think about the new future of sound or searching for the new sound. Where can we find inspirations. What are the new inventions to create the perfect sound and which Music Machine can we use. These were the things who were Neurosonics Audiomedical Labs Inc.
thinking of, too. They made this cool video for us to demonstrate how the future about producing music could look like.

When they say you shouldn’t play music with your head, they don’t mean you should use your heart.
Instead, use other peoples heads.

Enjoy it!

Modeselektor – Art&Cash Official Video by Pfadfinderei

October 13th, 2009 // 2 Comments // Posted by Lukas

Total mayhem..and what a tune! I remember listening to this one on a recent Modeselektor gig in WMF Berlin. Massive! Here´s what it says in the video description:

“Facing crisis and tormented by the sorrows of monetary depletion there was only one solution for the House of Modeselektor. All capital must go! And fast!
Property funds crashing like Windows 2000, investing in gold too 80s and the rights to Jacko’s portfolio too expensive. Only one answer remained: Art.
Versed on the international art trade floor it was easy for them to win over two sought-after art dealers; to seal the deal and to go on a shopping spree.
“Art & Cash” is the shocking “behind the scenes” documentary of that German art campaign. In the process a scandal was revealed that is shaking experts to this day. For years and under the watchful eyes of millions did the “Fantastic Nobodies” – exceptionally gifted art counterfeiters and weirdos from Brooklyn – manage to sell themselves as renowned works of art, thus creating inexplicable damage…”

Future is now made by Honda

Honda’s U3-X is the Human Transportation Device From the Future!

The Honda U3-X, the automaker’s new personal mobility device, is a boom box-looking one-person unicycle-like scooter for office use, home mobility and travel on sidewalks without interfering with walkers.

This is less a replacement for a walker, as with Honda’s Walking Assistance Device, and more a Segway-style personal passenger vehicle. It uses an electric motor designed to provide free movement in all direction, stop, and adjust speed on the fly using shifting body weight. The trick is the Honda Omni Traction Drive System or the “HOT Drive System”.

iBum by Tomomi Sayuda

Tomomi Sayuda thinks that:

“…human buttocks are one of the less discussed and focused part of human body. In this “iBum” project, I would like to reveal the visual of this less popular part of body without notice. The chair reveal human unconsciousness and reality. When audience sit down on the chair, a scanner on the top of chair start to scan people`s buttocks automatically.  Then the scanned image is printed out from the right hand side of the chair.(…) “

The legendary scenes we all know from movies and funny office scenes shaped up in a chair.  You sit down, you Bum gets scanned and shortly afterwards you get your copy of the chairs view. Quite strange…but somehow creative and really funny!

www.neave.com by Paul Neave

His name Paul Neave -  interactive designer of Neave.com. Hes been using Flash for over 10 years both with Neave.com and for design agencies in Manchester and London, and has been making computers do silly things for even longer.

Paul explains Neave.com as his personal interactive playground; a place where he can explore his ideas and try out risky experiments that he wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to make anywhere else.  He often spend his days pointing and gazing in wonder at the world around him, Neave.com allows him to turn his daydreams into reality.

Really tricky interactive site – check out the Television part, this is entertainment, like it!

inbflat.net – your youtube soundmachine!

May 26th, 2009 // No Comments // Posted by Lukas

soundmachine

Have you ever heard of Kutiman? No?! It´s the guy that produced an entire Album just from samples he collected on youtube through out the web.
He obtained great results and his songs are really worth listening…

In this case it is called Bb 2.0, and represents a collaborative music and spoken word project conceived by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls.

The videos on the site can be played simultaneously — the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders.
Videos have been selected from many awesome submissions from many awesome people.

Try it here!

Good afternoon guys,

I found something for the fans of visual irritations. A tool where you can insert any youtube link, which then gets tiled into several small squares and played with some delay.
A nice effect which you can be seen here:
