Nomad is opening his newest solo show, ‘Rainbow Coloured Tears of a Clown‘, at the CircleCulture Gallery. The gallery had a lot of nice things to say to us about the art, the artist, and this exhibition, but I think his flyer sums it up perfectly.

He is showing us that he his talented in a lot of various art styles. He became famous with his streetart. Especially as Mr. Friendly and his messages on rubbish bins. But in his exhibition he tells us about the history of art, in his personal way of expression. But of course street art elements are not missing.

The Opening reception was on october 30, 2009. The show is up through Jan. 9th.

Analog Photography by Michael Meinhardt

October 28th, 2009 | Photography | No Comments

Nowadays in the digital age of entertainment people decreasingly work with analog techniques. Sure there are many reasons to do it like that- for instance, lower price of digital technology, don’t need an education to work with and the most important think you can work with an computer to handle. So everyone who tried to adjust an analog synthesizer or take photos with a SLR camera on film will notice the difference between analog and digital. Its a question of know-how.

Today i want you to introduce a little bit about the work of our dude and Berlin based analog photographer Michael Meinhardt. He’s one of these oldschoolers. I like the look of the raw analog pictures a lot. An atmosphere you wont get with digital cameras without using photoshop. Even if you use it you will not get this unique look made by film and developing liquids.

This is a little collection of my favorites shots you can find on his profile on FotoCommunity.

Budapest-Berlin // two-B-music // new “Girl EP” by Steven M

July 14th, 2009 | Music | No Comments
I’m proudly to present, after a longer break the Budapest-Berlin based two-B-music is back with another physical release – Girl EP.
two-B-music was founded in the beginning of 2006 by my mates Steven Mahnke & Philipp Adam and is defining itself as a fresh, new company which is focused on the fields of elctronic music. The 7th release is a personal and carefully selected mixture of emotional deep house with modern edge. Steven M’s (owner of two-B-music) debut EP has been already receiving a great feedback from key Djs. Extraordinary remix by Mirau’s little pearl Iron Curtis gives some extra lovely vibes to this heartbreaking EP. Irons latest production has been featured already on some compilations including Deetrons amazing Fuse Mix CD. „…make friends forever and go away!“
