DFRNT for J’aime le Dubstep #102

March 30th, 2011 // No Comments // Posted by Lukas

I really love the deeper end of dubstep, where garage, 2-step and dubstep blend to extensive soundspheres. And until now i enjoyed every single one of DFRNT‘s mixtapes..
This one is for J’aime le Dubstep, an extensive ressource and great place on the web for all things dubstep.

DRFNT´s Blog “Sitting Ovation” is also worth a recommendation.. its full of good stuff! Visit here.

3 obligatory dj sets in March 2010.

March 18th, 2010 // No Comments // Posted by Lukas

I´ve been posting almost just music lately..out of a good reason..there´s just so much good stuff out there that it is even hard to keep track. Anyway, here are my March top suggestions until now:

Scuba vs SCB – RA Podcast 198

Scuba aka SCB merged 2 sets from each act and produced one of the best sets of smooth dubstep, dubtechno and techno i heard in a while. This is one is big! The resident advisor podcast is obligatory anyway..they´ve been delivering quality sounds all the way. Go get this one as it is only available for a few weeks.

DFRNT – Exclusive Percussion Lab Mix

DFRNT delivers a smooth “lovestep” mix. Great for the sunny days that are hopefully coming now…
Download and tracklist here.

Peverelist – FACT Mix 132

Tom Ford aka Peverelist runs Punch Drunk Records and the famous Rooted records store in Bristol. As written on FACT: “It was “recorded live with two turntables and a bag o’ acetate” just last week, and is “choc full of exclusives”.”. Great sounds, dubstep at its best.

This Blog is discontinued…

We're no longer generating content for Cityclouds. Consider it an archive for great things a group of Berliners found on the web and elsewhere from 2008 to 2012. The future is bright...
