Alex Trochut
So, get lifted by this guy from Spain, currently living in Barcelona. Alex Trochut is an independent designer and illustrator, who has design in his genes. I reckon he never draw childish pictures, when he was kid. His trees were almost a perfect copy of nature and when he wrote Mama the first time, he invented a new typography. Ok, jokes beside. I was mesmerized by his work and, in turn, I was engaged, surprised and touched by its variety and intensity. His Typography work is vivid and playful with intelligent patterns and merges with his illustration style. The phrase less is more becomes rightly useless in his interpretation of structures and compositions. Even though the work is so vivid, he found the pure form contained within itself.

The work of Ryohei Hase
Ryohei Hase is a freelance illustrator and artist based in Tokyo. I am truly impressed with his Illustrations. In my opinion the “Repetition” series carries some of the distress of todays society. Fantastic work! There are some rabbits in his illustrations and “Hase” in german means “rabbit”. Not sure if there is any association.. an interesting detail though.
Here´s what he writes about his work:
Here are some of my favourites. Click on the images to view a bigger version.

RekaOne
I want to intodruce you to a very famous Artist from Melbourne. RekaOne. He is belonging to the street art scene. Of course he is not only a illustration genius by painting a wall. His illustration gave us a insight in a surrealistic and curious world of unique characters. Tomorrow I will visit a Club in Fitzroy, Melbourne, he created the wallpaintings. So I will see how his work looks in real.

Byroglyphics – Domestic Science
So here is an Artist / Illustrator with an amazing output. The UK based Artist Russ Mills aka Byroglyphics is maybe one of my favourites of all the Artist i´ve been featuring here and discovering on the Web. Thats how Signal Gallery where he had an Exhibition, describe it:
“Byroglyphics is exploring, through a series of large mixed media canvases, the sense of movement and flourish of the figure. These figures are always very contemporary in feel. They seem to float in some incredible technological ether, only fleetingly seen by the observers. They seem to be formless phantoms that are grounded and familiar. The artist sees them as being carried along as if in an endless cycle of technological ecstasy. The confident lines have a freedom and spontaneity, creating an illusion of life and movement.”He was selling prints for as much as 25 pounds on his website but guess what?! They´re sold out. I know why!
I specially like this Series i am showing here in the Blog. But he´s got much more in the Gallery Section on his Website. Check it out!

The Work of Jason Thielke
Great Illustrations by US based Artist Jason Thielke. The following description could be found on his website:
“Jason Thielke’s art focuses on urban landscapes and their inhabitants. A strong emotional connection to the built environment and its inevitable rise and fall provide the foundation for his work. Thielke’s aesthetic encompasses both contemporary and traditional techniques much like modern architecture; his process of drawing, composing, and transferring images mirrors the planning, deconstruction and reconstruction phases of urban gentrification. The architectural style in his work is applied to his interpretation of the human form, which comfortably contrasts hard lines with soft features and mixed emotions. Thielke often parallels this theme with the resurgence of American figurative painting. Thielke earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Northern Illinois University School of Art and has held solo exhibitions in Denver, Portland and Seattle.”More on his website – www.jasonthielke.com

Non-Format | Design+Music
I am not sure how well known this talented graphic design duo is. But I don’t want to miss the chance to introduce you to them. Non-Format is an Graphic Design Agency leaded by Kjell Ekhorn (Norwegian) and Jon Forss (British). Now their studio is based in London, UK and in Minneapolis, USA. They show us how outstanding and contrasty puristic work can be. Some of their work is published under ” Die Gestalten Verlag”.
And I just think the title of this piece is suitable for this blog.
