This video is wicked. I love the pictures, the dark and eerie atmosphere with these japanese horror elements. The execution of the idea and the the style of the stop motion effects let the whole video become a masterpiece of its own. The commission of the Illustrative thought the same and they decided to exhibit it. It’s now displayed in Berlin. I was there and it is worth to visit the exhibition, the work is terrific and expressive. The artists are very talented and you can see a whole bunch of styles, which creates the current illustration movements.
Established in Berlin in 2006, Illustrative has been held twice in Berlin (2006 & 2007), once in Paris (2007), and once in Zürich (2008). Being a big success right from the start it managed to be the leading international forum for contemporary illustration and graphic arts.
