Looks like the right way of doing it.. Designers.MX. Great playlists with great design. They say:
If you’re anything like us, you love music as much as design. We’re asking some of the industry’s top designers to let us in on one of their secrets…what music fuels their creativity.

Hotflush recordings serve us another one of their great podcasts. This one is by XI, a 24 year old Toronto native that has putting out vinyl since 2007 and playing in almost any major dub night in north america. Be sure to check out his releases on his myspace site. Now listen!

Some swinging garage beats from Southeast London based DJ/producer Deadboy. One of my favourite recent mixtapes. Big up!

Business as usual: another banging minimal techno set by Shalla Bros. This one starts smooth and keeps growing until the end. I listened to the mix at work yesterday and i really enjoyed it. This keeps big kids dancing..

Sepalcure is a collaboration of Brooklyn’s Praveen and Machinedrum. The two are creating something they call Lovestep, a combination of soulful house and 2 step beats. Here´s what they write about themselves:
“Sepalcure’s combination of love for bass and 90s house acapellas is the culmination of a cathartic two week collaboration between Machinedrum and Praveen. Their mix of tribal dub, house and two step beats works equally well for both late nights in the club and rainy, introspective nights at home. Detroit techno chords cut through wooden beats, neon synths and dubbed out atmospherics. Future lovestep.”
I really like the idea and the´ve got proper support with the art direction by Sougwen Chung who produces imagery that goes with the music.
This mix by Preaveen is from November 2009 and features some of the best mellow dubstep tracks from 2009. This works so well for the frosty winter here in Berlin..some of my favourite tracks are among these.

It looks like me and Roberdo share the same cup of tea. According to him: “Easy, melodic and yet so inspiring and groovy.” And i totally agree. Have a good Weekend.

DJ Xelow is back with his December Promo! As always a nice seamless mix and pulling a bit for the darker side of things then on his previous mixes.. This one is driving and straight for the dancefloor! Enjoy.

Back from Portugal and back on track i´ll start with a premiere on the blog: to keep up with the diversity of electronic dance music we´re featuring our first breakbeat stomper. Perfect for the task is none else then my good friend and Algarve based bass mutant, Breakalot! Btw, I posted a Breakalot techno mix in July.
This mix in some parts sounds like an electric drill working on your brain membrane.. BRRRR..BRRRR…topnotch!
Visit his Myspace here, and don´t forget to check out some of his own tracks, fresh stuff is online.
