Quite some time went by since i last posted the Hotflush Podcast.. and its well worth it this time. Until now unknown to me, Roko delivers the kind of dubstep is like.

I really love the deeper end of dubstep, where garage, 2-step and dubstep blend to extensive soundspheres. And until now i enjoyed every single one of DFRNT‘s mixtapes..

Brendon Moeller ist known for his eclectic taste, great productions and shows it once again. This epic set has a length off over 4hrs and appearently went on even longer, as his recording device ran out of batteries. It includes a vast selection of artists going from vladislav delay, dorian concept, lone, king tubby, calibre, stereolab, harmonic 313, gang star, lou rawls, the orb, tribe called quest, einsturzende neubaten, suicide, lee perry, ian dury, deep chord, the specials, jimi hendrix, the commodores, inxs,modeselektor, steely dan and more.
I haven´t heard such a eclectic selection in one mix for long, if not to say never. A real trip. Dear Brendon, thank you!

You also can download these interview as podcast. It is like a digital video art magazine with a lot of variety. And also in video dimensions everything looks so much more vivid and you really get to know the artist and his work.

Input selector from France seem to be a proper crew. At least they have a proper podcast. I am listening to this the whole afternoon now and its not getting boring for a second. Some damn nice tunes. After almost 9 Month, Autonomic Podcast Nr.11 by dBridge and Instra:mental is finally published again. A fine selection of recent tunes and old school gems, starting with 15 minutes of “influences”, following with the clubby bass music part until the end of the first hour and finishing with an eclectic selection of “influences” for another 35min. Easily one of the better podcasts around. It was good to hear some old stuff like Herbert (78:00) or the more recent Beach House (69:00) …good work!
