OneBeat lounge concerts @ Sehsüchte Filmfestival – 04.05.2011 // 20h30

May 3rd, 2011 // No Comments // Posted by Lukas

OneBeat is the non-profit organization that i am running with a group of friends and we aim to provide a versatile platform for presenting current work by artists and musicians in the Berlin area. As a team of volunteers we provide structures to support musicians of Berlin’s subculture. We support artists of a wide spectrum of genres, from singer songwriter to solid Berlin techno.

sehsüchte is the largest international student film festival in Europe as well as an audience-centric festival and meeting point for upcoming international filmmakers. This year they are organizing a lounge space for visitors and filmmakers to take a break after or between films and panel conferences.
We are very pleased to provide music for one of the Lounge nights, . Karl Neukauf and Lavoisier will be playing their songs on wednesday the 4th of May. Be sure to check out the sehsüchte website for the programm and everything else that is going on. There are many nice movies from upcoming international filmmakers to be seen.. and we heard Wim Wenders is also going to be around.

The night is going to start with german chanson by Karl Neukauf & Kollegen around 20h30. Lavoisier is going to finish with nice Portuguese Folk and english cover versions.

MUSA: Portuguese Design Collective

December 20th, 2009 // No Comments // Posted by Andrea

I’d like to indroduce you to MusaCollective. I found these guys  in the IdN 15th Anniversary Edition, where you can find 250 highly talented creators who have collaborated-sharing their thoughts on the past; and their visions of the future.

And I thought maybe one of our authors, Lukas, is interested in their work. He is currently visiting his homeland Portugal, staying in Lisbon. Maybe he knows these Designers.

MusaCollective was formed in 2003 by Raquel Viana, Paulo Lima and Ricardo Alexandre, a Lisbon-based collective of graphic designers. Musa works with as many aspects of design as possible, from artistic/experimental to commercial. The first headline-making event that the collective was involved in was the “MusaTour” in 2004, in support of the MusaBook project, the first Portuguese emergent graphic-design book ever compiled, published by IdN.

We're no long generating content for Cityclouds. Consider it an archive for great things we found on the web and elsewhere from 2008 to 2012. The future is bright anyhow...
